Looking to share your experience?

The Harvard College Undergraduate Research Association is looking for students involved in undergraduate research to participate in the 2011 HCURA Advising Program. This is an opportunity to share your research experience with other students looking to get involved in research at Harvard. HCURA will pair you with an interested student, most likely a freshman, and you will be able to share what you know about undergraduate research life. We are looking especially for those with experience in social science research.

As we may remember, the beginning of freshman year can be a bit overwhelming. HCURA Advising hopes to give freshmen the opportunity to meet with an experienced upperclassmen who is familiar with undergraduate research from a student’s perspective. As an advisor, you will have an opportunity to share experiences (such as finding a position or balancing research and school work) while building the undergraduate research community at Harvard.
